Triere Estate Vineyard Merlot

An outstanding Merlot. Blackberries, chocolate, dried cherries, and hints of tobacco. Great structure, drinking well now, and can easily go another five years.

Silky smooth. Very good.

Velvety tannins, great color. Pipe tobacco, and brooding blackberries -- followed up with an intriguing earthy-mint finish. Slightly disjointed despite its smooth feel.

Young

Rich black cherry, dark spice, some mineral in the finish. Paired w/mustard crusted pork tenderloin.

Spicy and big. Merlot for cab lovers.

Pretty good.
