Beautifully lifted and floral with violets, roses, sweet red fruit. A soft core and great length. Very composed and settled.

Five single-vineyard CA Pinots vs 5 Burgs: Gevrey-Chambertin, Vosne-Romanee + three 1er Crus Beaunes. All 2005s. Rob Jensen, owner, and Sue Ryan, lead wine educator at Testarossa joined our group for the tasting. This was our top rated wine although more middle of the pack for me.

Deep red fruit, rim holding strong, mushroom, earth, spices with pine needles and tart fruit. Super delicious..wish i had more..

Deep fruit with dark cherry, violets, plum, some tang. Gorgeous fruit and a silky mouthfeel. Very good stuff

Another blockbuster. In the glass the rim variation suggested 3-5 years, so this is holding up like a champ. Mushroom creeping in on the fresh tart cherry notes.

Elegant, red fruit and slight black fruit, great acid with warm baking spices, smooth with great finish...thank you @Gregory Fulchiero !!!

Wonderful fruit against a bashful French oak undercurrent. Crowd pleaser and a Volnay showpiece. Bravo.
