This is deeper and richer than the Prugnolo. I liked this quite a bit. Good food wine.

Pretty, dark ruby red with a wide rim. Subtle flowery nose, with violet. Vibrant open with red fruits including ripe dark cherries. Then a fun violet and light herbal flash followed by a hint of tomato leaf. Med plus acidity. Impressive tannins made it last long. Dry but not offensive. A very pretty wine.
