July 4, 2017. My first Raboso. Light bodied red with strong red fruit (strawberries, raspberries) on the nose and palate. Pleasing light summer red. Would like to try other Raboso as I think this grape can make a fuller-bodied red. 12% alcohol.

Jul 5th, 2017Dark purple color, pleasant raspberry & strawberry scent, fruity and light, served chilled, light acidity, excellent to cool off with light dinner dishes like prosciutto with melon or tuna salad or grilled/roasted chicken. It does have a resemblance to Welch grape juice, reminds me of the "new wine" (wines fermented under one week) that are served in Romania right after the harvest.
