Salmon color. Looks inviting in the glass. Fruit forward nose. Notes of cranberry, cherry and some citrus. Good mouth feel. A nice summer quaff.

Pretty wild strawberries and a slatey mineral core lurking beneath. On the palate refreshing and some secondary notes coming through then an electric steely backbone. Lean and delicate but has a good future.

A blend of 68% Pinot Noir and 32% Chardonnay, this Champagne exudes a overbearing presence with intense smokey notes followed by raspberries, cherries, grapefruit, anise, and chalk dust. A mid to full bodied Champagne with intense fizziness, tart red fruit flavors intermixing with honey on entry. A balanced midpalate with refreshing acidity, citrus peel, and steely mineral notes that linger on the palate for quite some time.

A little pre-ballet champagne live and direct from the 29th floor... I've had the 04 on a couple occasions but it was terrific last night. Light strawberry notes framed by very subtle oak. Brioche and nectarine also build on the nose. Nothing better than sharing a bottle of bolly with the one you love

My Champagne Supernova. A controlled detonation of cherry, blood orange, brioche, and anise that leaves the air drenched in flowers, yeast, and chalk.

The '04 is 68% Pinot Noir, including 5% still wine and 32% Chard. Dosage is 7%. The wine is focused yet balanced. It is chalky and taut with s long floral finish. This was a favorite at our tasting of nearly 40 Champagnes.
