Jammy bramble fruit, cherry, oaky vanilla and a touch of white pepper on the nose. Fruit-forward character carries through in your mouth, peppery zing continues plus finish featuring dark chocolate but plenty of lush tartness for balance and nice tannin structure. Admirably restrained use of oak by Bogel at this price point; for $8 at Total Wine I can’t imagine a better QPR #zinfandel .
