Rustic and gamey! If ever there was the right wine for a mix of thick molasses and ripe, freshly chopped katamala olives it is this gooey little number. Although true to its intensely sweet style, there is a pleasant, savory finish with hints of sage, fennel and mint. Only knock is the balance, which suffers due to a lack of alcohol integration. Would hold for aging as this should resolve with time.
