Pretty fruit forward. Not the best of the night but certainly very nice.

Stunning wine and still young. Perfect balance between fruit, earth, acid and tannin. Improved over the course of the birthday meal. Only reason it’s not a ten is that nothing is perfect. Beautiful and delicious. One more in the cellar.

Mature but still fresh. Fruit and dusty earth. Great with grilled lamb.

Roda 1 is one of my favourites & this 01 @ Β£50 is just starting to show lovely but has loads of life in it πŸ‘ I'd give it 3-5yrs πŸ˜‰ I prefer the 04 😁

🍷 Garnet ruby w/ brick edge

πŸ‘ƒ Smashed dark cherry over smoking oak w/ sweet blackberry, vanilla, liquorice, prune & candy-floss

πŸ‘„ Med body of creamy silk dark cherry & slight sweet blackberry w/ liquorice, dates & cocoa

🎯 Long creamy cherry lead dark fruit w/ sweet liquorish chocy date fig yum
