Oct 12th, 2020Even funkier nose! Ruby red color. Dried fruits, apricots, plums with earthy notes, clay, moss. Rich in the mouth. Ripe dark red fruits and berries give way to stewed plums and rhubarb. Long finish with vanilla and subtle spices. Tannins are firm with a little more heft than the 1995 and 1999. Excellent.
