Was in the mood for something different and this hit the mark. 30+ minute decant. Purple color with reddish tones. Muted nose of blue and black fruit. Palate is restrained with subtle hints of oak and vanilla. Some spice on the finish, which is rather short. Wine does have a lovely texture. Pretty much as desired and expected.
