Deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of plum and black cherry with licorice, tea and spice notes. Fine tannins, lively acidity, medium(+) finish ending with fruit, slight alcohol burn and savory spice. Nice value, drink now!

This is a venture between family members of Catena Zapata and Lafite Rothschild...the Mouton side of the Rothschilds.

This is 100% Malbec that is fermented in tank only, no oak at all.

On the nose; sweet & sour dark cherries, blue hues, blackberries, black raspberries, cherries, strawberries, dark moist soils, light soft spice, fresh red flowers and violets.

On the palate, the body is medium full. The tannins are fine, powdery dust. The fruits are ripe but not bright as one would hope. Blackberries, dark cherries, plums, raspberries, cherries & strawberries. There’s is oddly a sense saddle-wood presence without ever touching wood. Dry clay and top soils, dark dry soil, dry stones with red flowers and violets. Decent acidity and finish. It’s simple and not complex but a pretty good a wine that is meant to be consumed young.

Exceptionally supple and delicious. One of the best Malbecs I have had in some time. They should all have some bottle age
