This is a luscious blend of Malbec, Merlot & Cabernet that definutely improves with time in the glass and even into day 2 of being open. Aromas of blackberry, boyensberry up front followed hints of espresso & allspice. The pallate is quite smooth with plum and blackberry leading into cocoa and hints of smoke on long finish. Paired amazingly with 24 dry aged reverse seared NY strip steaks! ($22) [9/29/20]

Medium ruby; medium intensity aromas of currant, red and black plum, savory notes, creaminess; dry, medium plus acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium finish, not overly complex

Very pleasant bouquet, mild but tasty. Delicious. Great right out of the bottle.

Apparently this was the Swarovski family’s custom lane family wine and they decided to make it public, hence the name Privada. Let’s find out if it’s as glamorous as the name may suggest…

Peppery, fruity, ruby, pomegranate bouquet. Fragrance of the divine.

It’s actually pretty good. Not gonna lie. Medium to full body. Solid value. Juicy and nice melange of spice like a pepper jam.
