Don't know if anyone cares, but to me this is an understated Cabernet franc. I have had some that bring the power of pepper and tobacco. This one is subtle and tame. If you don't like to be overpowered with awesomeness, this may be a Franc for you. For me it's good, just not what I wanted in my franc. I'll drink it if someone else buys but I won't spend another $17 on a bottle.

Headland Hotel,Cornwall. Beautiful balance between heavy flavor and tanin--the taste of intense saltanas without the awkward aftertaste. Slight charred taste at the end (which apparently is my thing). Beautiful wine.

A full on nose of powdered, roasted cacao. Tar, Tabac, dark berry, roasted veg. Wow. An amazing Cab Franc for the price. Good balance of oak and acidity. The cacao goes from start to finish, and then through onto the afterthought..

Juicy red berries, dried violets, toasted vanilla, spicy oregano, eucalyptus, and layered hints of minerality. Tannins are rounded and firm. Balanced acidity. Signature Southern Hemisphere crispness and cleanliness. Drinking like a champ now. Enjoy with food. Cheers!
