Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Nose of black currants, blackberries, plums, vanilla, oak, alcohol, vegetables, coffee, herbs, green pepper, black tea, tobacco and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cherries, oak, cloves, green vegetables, herbs, vanilla, licorice, chocolates, smoke, spices, tobacco leaf and peppercorn.

Medium plus in finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very nice and intense Malbec from Argentina. Not fully balanced yet, but very enjoyable nonetheless. Showing nice complexity, and needs another year or two in the bottle to mature.
Good with food or by just by itself and better after an hour of opening up.

Grapes are grown at high elevation of 5900 feet. A blend of 85% Malbec, 10% Tannat and 5% Petit Verdot.

Would pair very well with BBQ Meats.

13.9% alcohol by volume.

Description on back is accurate: rich red fruits, hint of spice, approachable tannins. Actually pairs pretty well with...chocolate.

This was okay - not quite balanced and not as smooth as I’d hoped. Probably wouldn’t get this again.

Deep ruby to purple in color; black cherries, black plums, and graphite on the nose; medium acidity high tannins; tastes like blackberry jam, blueberries, and clay pots with a long dark fruit finish. Nellie says it's not bad. I like it.

Label is vaguely exotic and South American. Nice blue tint. Color of the wine is nice. Dark red of plums and black cherries. Smells like ‘wine’. Flavors are somewhat savory and denser. Tastes a bit like tomatoes crossed with prunes or plums. It was an interesting Malbec.

Quite like this one. It's a light wine, fairly fruity and a bit of spice. Not sure how to describe it but it just tastes refreshing. Tannins well controlled with good complexity. Only complaint is that the finish is rather short. $13

Jammy notes of black fruit escape from the bottle as soon as we opened it. This wine is a luscious shade of deep purple. The palate is ripe, round, and juicy. It pairs well with

Lighter body that other Malbecs. A different take than Mendoza Malbecs. But drinkable and pairs well with many foods
