As with previous vintages, the 2017 has a substantial mouthfeel for what is in all other respects a light style of pinot. At this young age the fruit is all-present, and I find the cherry and red plum more pronounced than raspberry this year. Look for the note of pink cotton candy crystals just getting going in the blower this time around too. Whispy.
