Round, medium bodied, plum like fruity burst on the palate with slight pepper on the nose and in the mouth. Long finish. Great by itself or with flavorful food.

The closest California wine I found to a really good Italian Primitivo. Definitely a little bit Jimmy lots of cherry but still pairs well with venison or pork.
