Citrus, melon, pear, sea spray, peas and asparagus. Very savory quality on the nose, forceful entry leading to a soft mid palate texture. The finish is where the melon and pear really express themselves. The salinity in this wine is very pronounced and pairs nicely with the bright fruit and subtle vegetal quality, making it an ideal food wine. Tapas, paella, shellfish, seafood pasta with white sauces- this wine can handle it all. Lovely Pigato from the beautiful Ligurian coast.

Had by the glass first time at Zuni Cafe in SF. Love it and was quite a surprise to me. Love the grape.

One of the better everyday-style whites I've had of late. Aromatic, medium to full bodied on the palate, good acid but nothing overwhelming. Would be a good one to just keep around - not profound but very enjoyable.

Sep 19th, 2016Very nice aromatic wine, with hints of basil, thyme and sage, and fruity notes such as citrus and apple, very nice saltiness due to the terroir of the riviera ligure di Ponente.
