Here’s a Chianti that emphasizes an earthy nature. Tons of minerally gravel on the nose. Some dark cherry in the background. In the mouth, more fruit shows up front, but then as the seconds tick by, it turns more minerally and then ends a bit on the dry side. Very nice with pasta, but a bit too austere on its own.

Classic cherry component. Well balanced and very soft. Went very nicely with pasta, pancetta, mozzarella, and rapini.
