American Syrah

As displayed on the label this was supposed to be a sweet tempered wine but I got a bit different reaction. This light bodied wine smelled of apples, roses, and tannins (galore). While it immediately hit the tip of the tongue (as sweet wines tend to do) There was more of a sour-watered down taste I could not pin down - rather green apples/soap or something more...
