Steely, dry and tense. I wasn’t ready for the experience. Bone dry and tart on the palate. Comes across as structured. It’s well made, but for me, this is off my reservation.

Pop and pour from this great vineyard. A light gold/straw color. On the nose: subtle notes of pear, lemon, and vanilla honey toast. Taste: a juicy (plenty of acidity), little chalky medium body wine with apple, lots of lemon, grapefruit.......leading to a minerally, sweet pineapple decent finish at 13% alc.

Incredibly good Chardonnay. So crisp, savory & balanced. Best Chard I've had this year. Trey Fletcher is doing amazing things at Bien Nacido.
