This really opened up with three hours in the decanter (which was a lovely and thoughtful gift from @Shawn R and his amazing wife). Back to the wine - a bit of EtOH still peeks through on the nose, but the palate is so smooth, complete, and luxurious. Notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, nutmeg, and espresso. I would be happy to drink this wine any day.
