Château Fombrauge Saint-Èmilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Blend of 93% Merlot & 7% Cab Franc, deep Ruby with aromas of red berry fruits and notes of blossom spice. On the palate black cherry and red plums with tobacco and woodsy spice. Lively acidity, firm tannins, nice balance, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and herb spice.

Again a wonderful 2016 for a decent price. Full bodied with plenty of red fruit and silky tannins

A bit too tannic for me

Deep ruby coloration. On the nose, quite light, full nose in glass to discern some faint cherry and vanilla. On the palate, full body and rich, cherry, vanilla, and toasted oak rounds out this very pleasant and easy to drink wine. Tannins are strong. At $34.99 at B-21 this is a great every day wine.

Amazing Bordeaux from Costco!

Slow O’d for 3 hours, then double decanted. This is a rich and refined wine. Harmonious. Went great with Bistecca Fiorentina.

Decanted before tasting... great nose and tasting

Solid right bank Bordeaux, drinking well but should have more nuance to reveal with time.

Dinner @home sweetness medium body, nutty

For $30 this is absolutely killer and drinking well now. Great fruit balanced wonderfully with pleasant tannins and good acidity. Not super complex of course but loved drinking this wine.
