Really excellent - smells a bit like Napa, ripe plum and currant with some new oak spice, but the palate takes it back to BDX, dry and earthy. The 8 years of age have made this really sing, with acid and tannins beautifully integrated. Great with a grilled hanger steak.

2010 vintage (Bernard Magrez bought the estate, the largest Cru Classé in Saint-Emilion in 1999). Blend of 80% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 8 % Cabernet sauvignon. Modern style, drinking beautifully now. Nice truffle nose, and smooth, velvety taste. Not the most complex, but excellent value.

After 10 years it could seriously go 10 more and that’s amazing.. but in 2020 drinking beautifully. Lots of new oak and lush velvety black cherry fruit, vanilla, cedar. Long finish. Still opening up after 2 hours

2010 vintage. Tobacco nose. Good grippy acid, tannins, espresso, dark chocolate and very black cherry. Love this!

Not the best I have tried from the St Emilion family. Not worth the price. Low aroma and weak in taste.

I decanted for two hours before drinking and it continued evolve in the glass for the hour the bottle lasted. Plum, chocolate, some oak. Enjoyed it.
