Smoking good Pommard. Pure, light touch on the extraction, smart cooperage, really graceful tannin without losing that classic Pommard posture. Black cherry compote, candied plum, a hint of something bluer in there like cassis, floral pastille, warm spices, damp leaves, leather, a smokey minerality and goût de terre. Beautiful showing, smashed with chicken roulade w/ speck, lentils, and braised chard.
