Tonight's Pinot Noir is from the Willamette Valley and from a winery that is very consistent with their wines. I like Benton-Lane vary much and they have never let me down. I can count on a nice burgundian wine each and every time.

On the nose there is cherry, raspberry, clove, a bit of caramel and cola.

On the palate there is nice fruit with notes of tart cherry, cranberry, red raspberry and nice mushrooms which I really like.

There is a medium + acidity, medium sandy tannins with a medium finish.

I wouldn't hesitate purchasing their wine for any occasion.

Had it Musso & Frank for like $60...great deal at old classic and the Fettuccini Alfredo (invented here) was pretty damn good...light with right amount of cheese and soft chewy noodles! Wine went well too!

Good Willamette Pinot. Smooth, bolder fruits. Medium bodied, great with or without a food pairing!

We just really like it! But why is tobacco not in the tasting notes?

Bouquet of cherry and feet. Love it. Flavors of cherry, forest floor, and baking spices. There's the slightest hint of meat. The finish is long, mouthfilling and creamy. Outstanding. High QPR for a Pinot.
