Dry and bright on the front. Interesting rich and creamy, maybe even vanilla, on the back.

Cantaloupe, kiwi, gardenias, bitter almond flower, almonds. Pronounced rounded acidity, light-medium bodied, slightly oily texture, long floral mineral driven finish. I had no idea Alsace was just a few miles away from Portland.

In the Alsacian style. Full bodied, slight sweetness. Tasty. Could easily hold its own in a lineup of Alsacian PG. Knowing what to look for, I don't think it shows the characteristic Alsace smoky mineralogy, but I could definitely be fooled blind.
