There’s so much sneaky complexity in this wine. There’s the urge to just chug due to its beautiful purity of fruit, but resist that urge. There’s so much more behind that glorious veil.....

Deep fruits, floral tones. There’s a red something I can’t identify- like cranberry mint jelly. Seems a touch reticent. I think I’d wait on the next one and see what happens.

Brian this is a beautiful wine. So balanced and lovely. I wish I had a case left instead of just another bottle. Deep dusky nose full of ripe rich fruit, dark roses, and Willamette Valley earthiness. Palate is deep fruit and balanced with a long finish. Full of dark cherry, earthy chocolate and figs/prunes (in a good way)

So impressed by this 2000. The structure is fully intact and great Freshness. Anise notes, dark fruit, hint of earth.
