Different Pinot, powerful and tannic, rather mineral and yet more flowery than fruity

Excellent though I would bet it would be even better next year.

In mag, drinking well. I hear these actually age for years, well beyond the indicated window.

Aggressively bitter & sour finish. Lower viscosity and diminished textural complexity than its sister Las Alturas. On the more positive side, a unique "bursting yet pithy pomegranate flavor" clearly differentiates this Wagner offering from its two Belle Glos siblings.

Nice red, black fruit and cola notes. Savory herbs and organic earth mid-palate and on the finish. High alcohol takes it out of balance a bit. Needs time.
