Different Pinot, powerful and tannic, rather mineral and yet more flowery than fruity

Excellent though I would bet it would be even better next year.

Full-bodied, creamy, dense fruit but less tannic/acidic than 2013 Las Alturas (prefer this one).

Hearty for pino noir. Hints of chocolate. Should pair with meats and Italian better than most pinos.

In mag, drinking well. I hear these actually age for years, well beyond the indicated window.

If you're looking for a Pinot Noir, look somewhere else. If you're looking for a delicious, full-bodied, fruit-forward New World red... you've got a winner here. The only thing Pinot Noir-esque on the palate is the minerality.

Aggressively bitter & sour finish. Lower viscosity and diminished textural complexity than its sister Las Alturas. On the more positive side, a unique "bursting yet pithy pomegranate flavor" clearly differentiates this Wagner offering from its two Belle Glos siblings.
