Very decent wine, has some zin in it I feel. Smokey, mildly tannic, but a little over ripe and the oak profile seems to be trying to cover up “weak” grapes (i.e. less concentrated/more mass produced). Nothing amazing, but perfectly drinkable.

Seriously good. Deep, dark fruit notes of blueberry and blackberry.

Great with a 4th of July BBQ. Sweet red berries, minerals, bramble. Good now, likely better in 5 years. From Magnum.

The #10 on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 of 2018. Have 5 more of these to enjoy. 129th vintage, 19 different varieties within-only in CA is a wine like this possible. Sharp cherry and raspberry edge. Long finish. A masterpiece!

Bedrock’n at the (Joseph) Hooker House in Sonoma. From .375, a format I haven’t seen from Bedrock. A bit young, but a beautiful afternoon and great wine.

For $39, very difficult to beat the quality and goodness year over year. Remarkable that 27 different grape varietals have been blended so perfectly into this bottle. Beautiful bouquet of flowers and fruit, a little bit of spice and earth, soft, plush texture in the mouth and smooth tannins.
