It’s tough to find fault with Bedrock as a whole, but I’ve determined after a few passes that their rose’ is not exactly my cup (of old vine Mourvèdre) it’s a little dense and uninspiring for me. There’s a dormancy of fruit that puts me off and perhaps I’m missing the point on the intended style...because this house is so savvy at making wines of unique character and place. I know my viewpoint lands in the distinct minority here. I’m cool with that.

Salmon color with aromatic strawberry, watermelon, lime zest, stone fruit and wet stone aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied, focused and harmonious with a vibrant, mouth-watering acidity and strawberry, watermelon, lime and a hint of white peach flavors with an appealing mineral driven long finish. An altogether gorgeous rosé! 12.3% abv. Fermented on native yeast. old vine Mourvèdre and Grenache. A gorgeous rosé

Bright up front, rich mid-palate, a hint of fizz (a feature, not a bug)

Bright pink rose with a bit of a darker fruit profile, I'm guessing that characteristic comes from the heavy dose of 100+yr old mourvedre. There is also a melon note here that is delicious and keeps me reaching for the next glass. Great rose year after year but this may be its finest vintage to date.

130 yr old vines and a heavy dose of mourvedre. Always a recipe for a win in my book. I never order enough of these.

I'm only one glass in, okay, about to be two, but my wife better hurry home or she's gonna have to find out about it second-hand.

First of the '16. This is delicious, crunchy red fruit with melon and strawberry upfront. Grenache for the brightness, Mourvedre for the depth. Gorgeous.

Light peachy pink. Love the nose with layers of melon, kiwi, and red berries like strawberries. Moderate acidity (6.5/10) and light bodied. Definitely acidity driven with red berries in the attack. A touch of grass in the mid palate with tropical and stone fruits. A little dry with minerality in the finish. Long and lingering. Drink till 2019.
