Soft and splendid with rose and cinnamon on the nose. Jill wants this to be her perfume and it would make for a nice spring afternoon hammock cuddle. Has a darkness on the palate that I expect from Ribbon Ridge with cherries and baking spices.

Sipping Fine Wine

Located on an 86-acre farm atop Ribbon Ridge in the Chehalem Valley near Newberg, Oregon, USA. Planting began in 1988 with Pinot Noir vines planted tightly spaced at a density of about 2200 plants to the acre. #3 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2016, Ruby with fresh berry fruit aromas with pleasing sweet oak notes. On the palate cherry, strawberry, oak and tangy spice grace the glass. Fine soft tannins, lingering on a complex ending. Nice! Cheers!

It's not that there's anything wrong with this wine. It's not flawed. This is absolutely about personal preference. I think. But I have a hard time understanding how you can jam so much ripe prune flavors into an Oregon Pinot. Not a food wine.

Spring florals, cinnamon, bright lean mid red fruits; cranberries, strawberries, wild cherries, rhubarb, vanilla, very soft chalk, nice minerals, acidity and finish.

Some great barnyard notes to compliment the fruit. Great food wine.

Beautiful, elegant and showcasing a lot of the blue fruit characteristic of Willamette. A stunner.

The 2007 Pinots from the Willamette Valley are so lovely, and this is no exception. Black cherry, raspberry, tobacco - vibrant. Just hitting its prime.
