An experiment of sorts. The ‘05 vintage was classic. Does that hold at the industrial level? Slightly hazy garnet red. Nose of plum and graphite echoed on the medium-light bodied palate. Medium acidity and light but discernible tannins that become a wee bit more assertive with air and after food. Medium short, graphitey finish. Held on to its fruit, didn’t fall apart with time, and added a bit of class to my fast-food burger. Can’t be mad at this.

Ryder cup edition Bordeaux from MC - quite good! Mature, smooth and well developed. Excellent pair with red meat or cheese or as a premium table red.

After 25 years in captivity, it's finally time to let the genie i this bottle out. And what an entrance he makes. Certainly aged with dignity. Tonight, he makes all of our wishes come true!

There is a pasture smell on this one. Not that it is bad but noticeable. Dry, tannic. Some playful plum.

Pleasant wine and good for the bucks I suppose. Green banana, blueberry, cherry, sawdust, old cake, pencil shavings and touch of violets. Rubbery tannins and pretty astringent finish.
