Holy smokes. Massive, sexy wine. This is just absolutely decadent. Indulging, but why not?

Wow. Been waiting to break this out for awhile and it did not disappoint. Silky smooth tannins, great fruit and structure.

My absolute favorite "altitude" Napa Cab. Pronounced minerality, black cherry, good acid. A Napa Cab that can honestly be called "fresh."

Dazzling mountain fruit aromatics of pencil lead, cinnamon and cedar shavings. Very dense and tannic but sweet blackberry fruit and chocolate covered expresso beans shine through. I absolutely love these wines but I highly recommend you give them 10+ years in the bottle so they can strut.

Has the distinctive mountain fruit nose. Ripe concentrated black cherry and bittersweet chocolate on the front of the palate. Back of the palate you get this espresso and black fruit that rolls into a loamy smoked finish.

Attending the Côtes du Coeur in Dallas. Was asked to be a brand ambassador for Montagu Wines, so I get to pour this weekend! Last night was the grand tasting...out of 18 or so wineries, two really stood out.

This was so freaking good. I know
@Shawn R is a big fan of their stuff and this was my first time trying anything from Barnett (need to try their cab franc). This and the Macauley To Kalon were neck and neck for WOTN. Velvety in texture. Pure toasted oak, vanilla, black and blueberry pie. Superb balance.

My wife absolutely loved it but I think my palate was a bit off because we had completely different versions of this wine. Need to try again.
