Nose is light sour cherry, with heavily tannic palate of red berries and dusty leather. Finish is medium length touch of mineral. Still drinking young, will continue to get better over next 3-5 years.

Virginia Petit Verdot that is well made, like this one here, almost....and I mean almost ranks with the finest Napa Cabernet(s). One of my favorites with a med-rare steak.

Jun 28th, 2017Lovely to drink! Great example of the bright, high flavored associated with this varietal. Great balance between tartness and some rich fruits. We had it as nice accompaniment to lamb shashleek--beautiful!
