Big warm blueberry, rye bread with caraway, baked brownie, loose cigar tobacco and five spice with sweet smoke. The wine is almost black, concentrated, and star bright. Big coffee on the palate, cloves, black pepper, roasted sesame seeds and ripe black currants in mocha. Really a balancing act, that comes off like an Haut Brion blend. Maybe a touch of Cab Franc?

2012 Cab Reserve. Nearly perfect. Enjoyed with a filet and grilled asparagus but even more after dinner. Highest rating I have ever given.

This wine was a real treat! It is by far the best Cabernet Sauvignon I have had. Full fruit, full bodied, and big. Tannins are soft, and is almost chewy.
