We received this bottle at the Cellarmasters Meet The Maker event in Melbourne last month. It was a great event to try a ton of wines available through the Cellarmasters website.

This Avon Brae High Eden & Craneford 2016 Eden Valley Chardonnay was voted their ‘White Wine of the Year 2017’ therefore I was very keen to give it a whirl!

I have to admit it was pretty tasty with whiffs of buttered popcorn 🍿 and melon 🍈 on the nose and wonderfully refreshing tastes of stone fruit and a sprinkling of baking spice in the mouth. I wouldn’t turn down a glass of this South Australian Chardy #justsayin
