Another gem from my daughter’s birth year case. Not sure they were thinking what this wine would be in 24 years, but I would tell them it held up amazingly well. The acidity was definitely in tact, plenty of sour cherry tartness, very earthy nose typical for the variety, my guess is it was blended with a little cab to give it some structure. How nice to see Napa Valley Sangiovese make such a journey.
