Astoria
Corderie Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG
Prosecco DOCG, extra dry, non-vintage, 11%. Bottle tasted in September 2014. My glass was a little "tired", the last one from a bottle that had been opened a while earlier, nevertheless was quite pleasant and easy to drink. Very clear and limpid pale yellow color.

Sep 14th, 2014As prosecco go this is a good one, usual charmat hallmarks short finish quick mousse, larger bubbles than the millésimato . The real kicker here is the time it spends in the tank on the lees without filtration, a year or so. Digestive biscuits, floral aromas, bananas, as well as the usual lemons.
