ARPEPE
Riserva Vigna Regina Sassella Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo

YES! I tried this a few weeks ago and fell in love. It is delicate, feminine and Nebbiolo at its most subtle. Cranberry, plum, orange and dusty tannins. Showing great right out of the gate but know this has a few (many) years left to impress.

Very elegant and silky. Reminds me of burgundy. Definitely an icon and a benchmark for the area

Burnt orange edges. Nebbiolo, that speaks of the Sassela area. Had this several years ago nothing compared to how it's drinking now. Aged four years in Chestnut barrels and a minimum of two years in the bottle before release. Tobacco, tilled earth and green/bell pepper fill your nose. Great acid and tannins that still speak-trying to hide its age. Flashing strawberry pie, tart cherry, floral elements and hint of smoke.Finish that goes on and on. A special wine in a great place right now.
