This wine has many layers. Dark slightly overripe berries. Blackberry, blueberry and sweet strawberry like notes. It then has a smooth velvet layer that suggests dark chocolate and tobacco. Then it leaves you with an almost harsh acidic grapey/jamy flavor. The bottle is pretty and I really like the black cork, but I feel it is a bit of a gimmick for Halloween. Maybe, if it matures for another year or two some of the harsher notes will soften. It is an interesting wine and I have not tasted anything similar to it before. While I do not love it, I have consumed two bottles of it, so take my review for what it's worth.

"Less fruity than the regular Apothic red. Deep dark cherry flavors. Nice palatable finish." Says one of my customers. $8 / 78pts

A milk chocolate Hans Gruber is charming your pants off. Which pants? The purple velvet ones that say 'JUICY' on the butt.

I love this blend. It is the opposite of sweet! not as heavy as a cab but with the full body flavor and dry. Very unique I've never tasted anything quite like it, But than again I don't often get blends. I would highly recommend this especially if you are trying to avoid sweet wines.

This wine is completely luscious. Smooth, silky, and balance flavored of blackberries, chocolate, & coffee. Great to drink alone or with a meal.

This wine really feels like a wine to open during girls night when the girls don't really know much about wines. It starts off really jammy and almost has a syrupy flavor and ends with a bit of tannic bitterness. Not a huge fan.
