BIG, weighty and intense Napa Cabernet. Herbs, wet gravel and coffee on the nose. Dark cherry, cedar, coffee and tobacco on the pallet. Oak is light and in the background. Smooth tannins and beautiful long finish. Excellent! Revisited in December 2020. Cherry Fruit is still in the forefront, but there is even greater elegance. Velvety smooth. Revisited again in July 2021. Age is moving the tertiary aromas and flavors to the forefront. Raise rating to 9.3.
