Great Pinot, not huge like Sonoma Coast Pinot put a little more fruit than great Burgundy. Great Spice, Pinot body, light red fruit, some earth. I think this is a fantastic wine, still true to the varietal style with Oregon twist. Top Notch

A blend of Pommard and clones 777 and 115, all rooted in ancient marine sedimentary soils that form the foundation and consequently the backbone of the 2012 Angela Abbott Claim Vineyard. Textbook growing conditions combined with this stellar site have yielded a wine with heady, rapturous aromas of hibiscus, musky black tea, mushrooms, truffles, smokey incense and lush black cherries. It's a perfect ying-yang between masculine and feminine flavors and structure, with a silken, fleshy mid-palate offset by vivid acidity, and fine, firm tannins. A somewhat big Pinot Noir that has maintained its poise, it's also still slightly tight—consider tucking this one away in the cellar for another 5-7 years. 12.9% ABV Sample

Wild field strawberry, bell blueberry, southern tea and gorgeous silky freshness throughout. Long length, danced on the tongue and made the heart happy. A soul wine of innocence, childhood, and fond memories. A feminine, wild and free vibe, with a southern and forest floor twist, all rolled into one.
