Vigneto Rocche Barolo Nebbiolo

Sissie side-eyes this Barolo but no need. It use-a mail chimp and we'd acquit.

Pretty good single vineyard. Drink or hold. A couple more years would be stellar, but completely soft and rounded out with great acidity and supple tannins. Well structured.

Drank a little on the lean side. I don't think we gave it enough air. I've got two more to test out my theory.

2004. still hard as nails. needs much more time.

Great w caribou., Apple skin/cider, soy, iodine, reductive, good acid, drying tannins still pulsing, inky-mint, honey

Delicious. Nice tannins, fruit. Long lingering finish (30-45 seconds).

Note : A fine copper robe, a nose of tobacco, coffee, black cherry tied to its vintage. This Barolo remains full-bodied with these years of waiting in the cellar. A very nice surprise and a very interesting guard potential! A next visit to do in Piemonte.

Wow. This is so good. For me a perfect maturity a right up my ally.
