Napa Valley Pinot Noir

Fruit forward, intense Pjnot, the way I like it.

Ruby color, earthy, dusty, with sweet plums and small hint of herbs. Peaking maturity right now. Decanting not needed with this level of maturity.

I normally love Pinot Noir. I merely like this Pinot Noir. The aroma is gorgeous, but isn't carrying through to the palate. I smell earth, cherry cola, bright raspberry. I taste flat cherry. It burns a bit, unbalanced? 14.2% alcohol & Napa fruit could be the culprit. It's too big. Big & flat. Darn.

An excellent Pinot full of perfume on the nose and ripe berries, spice, and tobacco with just the right amount of mouthfeel.

Something from the home front. A big, meaty '05 Pinot and great with the chili we had for dinner. Plenty of life left in this bad boy.

Cherry cola, cinnamon spice. Big Pinot.

Flavorful, fruit forward, earthy Pinot! Started with a sweet strawberry edge and turned into tart, earthy strawberry/plum with a dry and almost spicy finish.

Conn valley never disappoints.
