Really exquisite SCM pinot, initially just a smidge reductive but quickly gaining definition and fruit intensity with air. Resinous and red-fruited, showing cherry, raspberry, and juniper character that's wickedly pure and lent an additional measure of length and piquancy by a wicked streak of salty minerality and nori-ish stem-influences vegetality from what I assume is at least a bit of whole cluster. New oak adds a little structure on the finish. Give it 2-3 years to burn through some of that rubbery reduction and then enjoy it under any circumstances possible.
