Intense kirsch, hints of tobacco on the nose. Rounded and ripe. Quite sweet. There’s something a touch off with this bottle. Metallic edges and a bit bitter. But clearly good stuff underneath. Hmmm.

I have had an off bottle a few years ago of this vintage. But this one performs excellent! Dark Ruby colors. Intens nose of cherries, prune, herbs and spices. Fruity on the palette with nice balance, and round mellow tannins. This is very satisfying.

Wow! A few years and this was perfect! Papal keys on my chest, prove I don't jest, I'm a Châteauneuf du paper, drinking some of the best. Gorgeous deep stone fruit mashed fermented, and thrown with some clay. Tasty.

No everyday red in the house so I went to the cellar(small wine fridge in basement). Collected a bunch of CDP's years ago I've been sitting on. Go to store or crack one of these???? I caved, it's awesome!
