Generous black currant, cocoa and spice. Complex and voluptuous. Drinks better than some CdP's I've had of the same stellar vintage.

Meh, left a little to be desired. Flabby with some sprinkles of cherry and berries. Would be good with mild cheeses.

Unsung appellation. Tremendous grip and quite surprised for an 09. Drinking at a cool temp (60-62) and quite streamlined.

Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Color is also garnet but with a little more purple. Apparently it is 50 Grenache and 50 Syrah and Mouve. The nose is darker red fruit and some spice. Taste is bright and spicy and fades into darker red fruit. Definitely leather and smoke. Pretty good.

Rojo oscuro y lágrima muy densa.Frutos rojos y negros en nariz. En boca suave con taninos equilibrados. Un pequeño amargor al final que desaparece al rato de estar aireado. Buen vino para empezar con los franceses que he comprado.
