Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Zuri

Nice fresh wine, with a subtle frisante. Herby tones, a bit off dry. (Certainly not sweet). Bit of tart citric zest. Great appetizer, but works with chicken-tomatoes as well. Super nice gift.

I’m a big fan of this style and this is a powerful example of Txakolina. Tropical and citrus fruit on the nose and palate, a hint of minerality. But it’s the acid that dominates, with a delicious smack across the face.
