Lot 116 Red Hills Cabernet Sauvignon

I hate the labeling because it's so misleading. BUT it does taste better than 13 bucks.

Nose of dark fruits jam. Blueberry jam, ripe blueberries, cassis, and blackberries, juicy nose. On the palate, juicy and medium plus body, very fruity and warming alcohol but fresh. Juicy cab. Easy drinking and fruity. Soft tannins and velvety texture. Medium acidity. 8.8

Solid everyday red wine.

Odd taste

The backstory on this wine company is fascinating. This has big jammy dark fruit flavors, yet still has that dry Cab mouthfeel. Some vanilla too. Really nice.

Black currant aromas, medium tannins, long, satisfying finish.
