More cherry colored and lighter than expected for Petite Sirah. Smells jammy and fruit forward. Plums, cherries and red berries. Tastes pretty good. Bit of vanilla, but it’s restrained. Lacks the extreme tannins of Petite. More like a cheap Syrah or CA red blend. Little bit of bitterness and character. Mostly tastes like a CA red of nondescript origin. Must be a long lost part of ‘Napa County’.
